LO: To understand percentage as the number of parts in every 100, and find equivalent fractions.  To find simple percentages and fractional parts of quantities.

 

This week's homework is based on equivalent fractions, percentages and decimals.  I will give you a sheet on Monday that will contain a range of fractions, percentages and decimal numbers.  Your task is to match all the equivalent quantities and then find the percentage or fractional part of a range of quantities.

Maths Homework 17/09/12

 

Your homework this week is linked to the multiplication and division work we have been doing in class over the last two weeks. 

 

I have set you a challenge of creating a hexagon using 24 triangles.  Each triangle contains either a division or multiplication sum and answer.  Match the sum with the correct answer to form the 2-D shape.

 

You need to use your knowledge of multiplication and division facts in order to complete this hexagon challenge.

 

I look forward to seeing your solutions on Monday 24th September when your homework is due.

 

Sheets will be handed out in Monday's maths lesson.
